The new 8C differs in a number of ways starting with the new length of 10.5” for improved tracking, a new heavier counter weight with improved coupling to the arm and highest quality silver harness wire.
The simple looking bearing mechanism has more than 120 parts including precision Swiss bearings with zero play.
The brass fittings have been replaced with stainless fittings, eliminating some slight colorations of the previous arm.
